We made a few more runs before we rode the chairlift by the Sunnyside Lodge, and saw Jerome of JC Signs waving to us, as he was the first one to arrive at the NHSA Meeting. Jerome was the only "cross dresser" of our group switching between skis and snowboard. We skied down to join him and the others and had some lunch. The details of the very productive meeting are in the minutes. And those in attendance were already planning for next years event. We also compared notes on the many chairlift workshops on boat lettering, clear edging signgold, airbrush painting techniques, computer files and setups and of course the ever popular guilding gold leaf.
After the meeting it was all downhill from there, literally, to the chairlifts and more seminars. Those who didn't attend missed a very educational and fun time with fellow signmakers, and a good day of skiing. After all, even a bad day of skiing is better than a good day of signmaking. As the caption to the photos of the smiling faces yelling "signs suck!"
Hope to see you on the slopes!!!
